Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 review: Seasonal changes help mainstream the device
Many people laughed at the concept of a flip phone when Samsung introduced its first model of the Z Flip gadget in 2020. There were issues with the design's stability and durability. Samsung also didn't include any flagship features in the Flip device. Since then, the company has made great strides. The updated version provides the best features and increased battery life.
Design
The Z Flip's hinge has improved even though there haven't been any significant modifications to the design. The external display is more functional and brighter. The sensibility of the touch has also increased. I don't like the purple color of the review unit, though. The back panel has a very plasticky feel. The device There are two camera bumps on either side of the screen, but they don't make the phone shaky and give it a good appearance. A volume button is located directly above the power button, which also functions as a fingerprint scanner, on the right. Although the button placement is practical for a closed shell, an open shell requires two hands to operate since the buttons are too high. Although the screen's undulation is initially noticeable, you eventually come to disregard it.
are spoken in. The aspect ratio is an issue, but the svelte design makes up for it. The screen is excellent for watching movies and is strong enough to be lifted with one hand.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 does not let you down when it comes to brightness, which is the ideal level. The speakers are not up to par; the sound is loud yet shallow. At higher volumes, the clarity is a concern, and the bass is absent. The curved display is useful for running various tasks, watching videos, and participating in video conversations. But because of the constrained design, typing is limited.

Both the external and internal displays are impressive. The external display is well-lit. Although it suits the function, I would have preferred it to be a little larger. Excellent internal display; vibrant colors and deep blacks.
UI and processor
Samsung did not reduce the quality of its features in this year's model, and the phone operates as a result. While multitasking is obviously not a problem, some of the apps still have some issues. Although crowded, the UI is usable. For the Flip design, Samsung has to improve the app experience. For instance, the YouTube app has poor performance and bugs.
Verdict
The phone is affordable for the form factor at Rs 89,999, but you must be absolutely certain of your needs before purchasing. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 is not a good gaming console, a good camera phone, or even good for watching movies. But it can accomplish all tasks and fit conveniently in your pocket.
